Introducing Wythenshawe Oasis (WO)

WO was created by the 5 Methodist Churches in Wythenshawe to make sure a serious long-term contribution was made towards the social & spiritual regeneration of the people. It is successfully achieving this through what it calls project ministries by partner organisations and their project activities.

Wythenshawe Oasis is a charity, No: 1092362 . The WO constitution together with its aims & objects can be found on the Charity Commission’s website.

WO is situated in Wythenshawe on the south side of Manchester. It works in a complimentary way with the churches and other organisations working in the area.

In February 2002, WO became a charity with company status limited by guarantee. Company No: 4368110.

The chairperson acts as the unofficial non-paid ‘Projects Director’.

Other roles are overseen by WO team members in a voluntary capacity.
